AMYCANBE "WOLF" E20ROMAGNA ASCOLTA.

Gli Amycanbe per chi scrive sono la più importante formazione uscita dalla Romagna negli ultimi tre lustri. Il loro percorso, il loro valore artistico e la visione internazionale del loro progetto li rende una band unica nel suo percorso musicale. Il loro precedente album Mountain Whales era il loro disco più ambizioso, riuscito e avventuroso, il nuovo album Wolf cambia notevolmente le attitudini sonore, mentre esteticamente si sviluppa in una maniera che amplifica uno degli aspetti della loro musicalità. Wolf è un disco dal forte sapore elettronico, anche se la sfida è proprio quella di creare un suono organico, naturale, ed unirlo ad una raffinata cornice elettronica. Ancora una volta la voce di Francesca Amati è lo spirito guida di questo lavoro, la sua voce accarezza per tutto il viaggio di questo lavoro, mantenendo quelle uniche tonalità grigio scure che la rendono una delle più belle voci italiane di questi anni. Il tono è delicato, questa volta lo stato d' animo del disco è di pacata dolcezza, dando un senso di sinfonia naturale a Wolf. Quando l' elettronica lascia il passo ad un suono più elettrico come in Wherefrom si ritrova l' identità del gruppo, ma una perla come 5 is the number oppure la melodia perlacea di Bring the grace sono tra i punti più alti della loro discografia. Il disco si conclude con uno strumentale Orata che omaggia il suono post rock (scusate la sigla...) dando una ulteriore apertura ad un nuovo futuro che per adesso passa attraverso lo sguardo magnetico di questo lupo, che sembra avere dato una nuovo serenità spirituale ed artistica al gruppo.
