Puntata speciale questa settimana, che vede ospiti gli Amycanbe.
La band, che ha conquistato il pubblico inglese con l’acclamato debut album “Being A Grown-Up Sure Is Complicated”, suonando in luoghi del calibro de The Borderline a Londra, Komedia a Brighton, il Croft a Bristol, presenta in anteprima ad AREA51 l’ep “The World Is Round”, una messa in musica dell’opera di Gertrude Stein. In uscita nelle prossime settimane, un disco... ricco di suggestioni che ripercorre le trame sonore di The World Is Round, scritto dalla Stein nel 1939, e dilata le atmosfere letterarie in un concept visionario e rarefatto. Un approccio pluridisciplinare alla ricerca poetica e compartecipativo alla dimensione comunicativa, che ha portato Rose is a Rose (PEACE Mix), anticipazione dell’ep, a essere inclusa nel progetto web dal titolo PEACE, a cura del duo barcellonese Buffetlibre e di Amnesty International, permettendo agli Amycanbe di comparire al fianco di grandissimi musicisti, fra i quali Sakamoto, Mogwai, Micah P. Hinson, A Place To Bury Strangers, e Patrick Wolf. In anteprima, ad AREA51.
